Sunday Post. My Reading Mojo is Back

Hello, bookworms! How are you doing? Have you noticed August is almost over?! 😊 This is actually the first time I'm joining Sunday Post this month -- clearly, it hasn't been very eventful. Just me stressing because I'm still waiting for the fellowship results and getting angry because I've noticed that as long as something doesn't happen in English-speaking countries, the world doesn't care.

What has been happening in my life:

🌻 So far, I have read eleven books! 

🌻 Remember me talking about an essay I wanted to write about original Uncharted trilogy? The abstract was accepted! 🥳 I can't wait to start writing it.

🌻 I finished the second season of Timeless (the end felt rushed, but, at least, there was an ending), binge watched Umbrella Academy & I'm now watching Lucifer. I missed the Devil.

🌻 I began five new posts and I haven't finished a single one. 🙈

• I wrote my review of Where Dreams Descend by Janella Angeles. This beautifully dark book comes out in two days. If you love powerful female characters that defy the patriarchal order, cursed cities, magician competitions, and slow-burn romance, Where Dreams Descend is perfect for you.

• Last week, I gushed about Scribd and shared how much I'm enjoying this digital reading subscription service.

 

Around the Blogosphere is back! 😄 I really enjoyed these discussion posts (I'm so sorry I haven't left a comment yet) and you should definitely read them.

• Becky @ A Fool's Ingenuity talked about how her blog has changed. I was left wondering how my blog has changed in the last years.

• Heather @ Random Redheaded Ramblings shared how it was coming back from blogger burnout.

• Kristen @ Metaphors and Moonlight wrote about how we can make our blogs more accessible for screen readers.

In the last weeks, I only bought Wicked As You Wish by Rin Chupeco. I got it from Kobo at an excellent price -- it cost me less than two euros. I blame my book-buying-control on Scribd. They just have so many great readings!!!
