Sunday Post. Santa is Coming to Town!

Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviews.
Can you believe that in three weeks times those who celebrate Christmas will be actually celebrating it? And that in one month we will be in 2019?! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Where did time go?! *freaking out internally* As you'll be reading next, in November I didn't read as much as I hope to (even though three books had more than four hundred pages). Between joining NaNoWriMo and reliving my childhood Spyro, I didn't pay much attention to my books (or my thesis). Let's hope December is different because there are still so many books I want to read before the year ends. Oh, and pages for my thesis that I want to write...

What happened this month:

⛄ In November, I only read four books (even though I started a lot of them): The Girl King by Mimi Yu, The Architect of Song by A.G. Howard, Paper Girl by Cindy R. Wilson and Escaping From Houdini by Kerri Maniscalco.
๐ŸŽ„ Which means I didn't do that well on #Mythothon.
⛄ However, even though I joined it one week later, I was able to write 50k words for my NaNoWriMo Project, a story about pirates, knives, magical treasures and betrayal.
๐ŸŽ„ I started working on a secret project that I can't wait to share it (fingers cross that I'll have everything ready this week). Don't tell anyone, but this super secret project involves books and another passion of mine.

ON THE BLOG
  • This week I only shared my review of The Girl King by Mimi Yu. If you love a fierce girl that doesn't bend her knee to the patriarchal order then this book is for you. This novel also features a heartbroken shapeshifter and a world of gods and magic.
  • To celebrate the release of Spyro Reignited Trilogy, I created a Spyro Book Tag. Even if you never played the game, you can join because it's all about books. Ps. If you love talking about books and are reading this consider yourself tagged.

๐Ÿ“š MINI BOOK HAUL ๐Ÿ“š

This week I could no longer resist to my Kobo voucher and I had to buy some books. A lot of books! I also received some review copies from NetGalley. So, this week's mini book haul isn't that mini. It makes up for all those weeks I've nothing to share with you.
Through NetGalley, I received from Penguin Random House for review Stronger, Faster, and More Beautiful by Arwen Elys Dayton and Fire & Heist by Sarah Beth Durst. Through it, I also received Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers. Now, I have a reason to finally read this series that has received so much love. I received too Analiese Rising by Brenda Drake since I'm joining the blog tour next month.
This week I decided to travel through  Kobo's library in search of something new. My goal was to get books that weren't YA, but it didn't go to well, as you can see. Anyway, I finally got A Mortal Song by Megan Crewe and The Goblins of Bellwater by Molly Ringle that I've been dying to read since it was released. After seeing The Black Tides of Heaven by Jy Hang on so many book hauls, I had to get it too. The Soul Thief by Kim Richardson was an impulse buying because of its cheap price. Missing from haul because I didn't want to ruin the aesthetic are The Ninth Rain by Jen Williams and Bound by Kate Sparkes.

Wishes of a Happy Week!
