It's Book Tag time! Also, it's time to bring Christmas to my blog because it doesn't look like it and Christmas is just around the corner. I was tagged by Shannon McGee to join the Bookish Naughty List Tag created by Jenniely.
Rules:
- Tag & link the person who tagged you;
- Tick/cross off the ones you’ve done;
- Tag another 10 people! If you wish to join it, consider yourself tagged.

1. Received an ARC and not reviewed it. ✔ But I promised to review it. When I finally read it. *hides in a corner in shame*

2. Have less than 60% feedback rating on NetGalley. Even though I've no self control and I can't resist to pretty books, my feedback rating on NetGalley is 79%. And, as soon as I finish my current read it will be above 80%.
3. Rated a book on Goodreads and promised a full review was to come on your blog (and never did). ✔ I still intend to review it ... some day.
4. Folded down the page of a book. ✔ This happened by accident while flipping a page. As I shared last Christmas, dog ears are one of my bookish pet peeves.
6. DNF a book this year. ✔ Sadly, I DNFed The Sisters of Winterhood by Rena Rossner. I swear I tried to read it, but... I feel really bad about DNFing it since it was an e-ARC.

7. Bought a book purely because it was pretty with no intention of reading it. You know I love beautiful book covers. I LIVE FOR PRETTY COVERS! If a book doesn't have an appealing cover, I probably won't pick it up. However, I never buy a book without intention of reading. Books are expensive - especially if you live in a non-English country.
8. Read whilst you were meant to be doing something else. ✔ I'm pretty sure that every time I'm reading, I'm supposed to be writing my thesis.

9. Skim read a book. I may read the last page of a book once in a blue moon, but I never skim read a book.
10. Completely missed your Goodreads goal. What do we say to the God of Goodreads? Not this year.
11. Borrowed a book and not returned it. Not that I can remember... If I did it, please let me know so that I can return the book to you.

12. Broke a book buying ban. I know me too well to even attempt it. I could never survive to a book buying ban.
13. Started a review, left it for ages then forgot what the book was about. ✔ I've an awful memory. I envy everyone who is able to remember every single character in a book.

14. Wrote in a book you were reading. ✔ Before anyone has an heart attack (because I know I would have if someone told me they wrote in a book), I only write in the books I read for my thesis. It's a lot easier to take notes that way when you're writing an essay with one hundred pages.
15. Finished a book and not added it to your Goodreads. Does it actually happen to anyone trying to reach their Goodreads goal?

Are you also on the Bookish Naughty List?
"Full review to follow" is one of the worst things I do. For non-blog review books, I DON'T do that placeholder anymore, because I always forget to go back. I think I just found and deleted a few of those recently. I never let my NG ratio go below 80%, but heaven only knows what my ratio is on EW. Without it in my face, I lose track. I have never forgotten to track a book either. I always set currently and read on my GR.
ReplyDeleteHaha, Bookstagram has done so much damage to my books. I don’t think books are meant for the things we do to them. I’m going to be posting this tag next week (hopefully).

Like Sam and you, I'm so guilty of writing, "full review to come!" on my goodreads and just forgetting to review it afterwards. I try to at least write a bit about my thoughts on my wrap ups, but I'm not one of those magical bloggers that is able to review every book they read! I'll probably end up doing this post later this month! Thanks for sharing. :)
