Sunday Post. Halloween Yet?

Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviews.
Hello, bookdragons. How have you been? Any goods books this week? I can't believe Halloween is finally upon on - and that means that another month comes to an end and that in two months the year will be over. I really need to find someone who explains to me why time goes by so fast... Or maybe someone who has a time turner and gives it to me. Why hasn't it be invented yet?!

What happened this week:

🍁 After two months away from Instagram, I returned to this very stressing hobby (btw, I feel I should share with you that my dictionary wants to change this word to hobbit). I was actually happy for the first three days because there was a lot of human interaction, but then everything went downhill. I really want to be happy on Instagram, but no matter how excited I'm, the algorithm will always ruin it. Anyway, if you want to take a look at my Autumn theme (and leave a message), here it's the link
🍂 I'm currently working on a post on romantic tropes. I'm still doing some research (searching for all the romantic tropes and books that can be added to each category), I can't wait to share it with you.
🍁 I finally read City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab (I'm can't believe I squeezed some spooky read in my reading schedule) and I have one question: why do people complain that it's short? The book is middle grade, of course it won't have six hundred pages.
🍂 I haven't done any blog hopping this week (so sorry), but I've saved some posts to read and I hope to it ASAP.
🍁 I started watching The Haunting of Hill House yesterday. It does have some spooky moments and I'm not over yet the second episode. WHY?!
🍂 Has anyone watched the new Halloween film yet? If you have, please tell me all your thoughts on it - without spoilers. 👻

ON THE BLOG
  • I shares this post a few weeks ago, but since Halloween is now so close here are some some creepy and monstrous books that may be perfect to read while one is getting ready for the most terrifying night of the year.

📚 MINI BOOK HAUL 📚

NOTHING! I can't remember the last time I didn't have at least one book to share with you. Well, one book could have made this week's haul, but the publisher didn't have e-ARCs (something it forgot to mention to the people organizing the blog tour which are very sweet) and physical ARCs are US only. At least, someone gave me a voucher to get myself a lot of new books from Kobo store and that makes up for the disappointment with this popular publisher.

Have a spooky week Booklovers!

  1. Hey, um, you should join our NewBloggers convo where we share our new Instagram posts with each other. That way we can kick the algorithm in the butt. If you want, I can figure out how to add you there? (But tweet me or DM me if you want to be added because I suck at noticing comment replies anywhere xD)

  2. It's been a while since I had a week with no books. My book budget is feeling it. LOL Hill House is going good so far. On the 4th episode and will watch more tonight. I can't believe how this year flew by either! I'm not in a hurry to get older. LOL

  4. I love all the tropes. Bring on the tropes post! I gave up on Instagram, because I just suck at taking pictures, and it was such huge time suck for me. I would rather read.

  5. The Haunting of Hill House gets spookier. We also binged Sabrina which is good too. Your Instagram pics are so pretty. I have no time for that. I throw a book on the back deck and snap a pic. LOL

  8. I really want to read City of Ghosts. And I agree that a MG shouldn't be as long as her YA books!!
