Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviews. |
Today's Sunday Post will also be also a February recap since I'm too lazy and too busy to write two different posts. And, as you can clearly see, I'm too lazy to write a long salute today...
🌻Too busy to stay awake. I feel sleepy all the time...
🌻But the nerd in me got some happy news in February: a new Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer and rumours of a Spyro remaster. If you read this post, you know how much I've been wanting to get my hands on a Spyro remaster.
🌻In February, I read 6 books: Spindle Fire by Lexa Hillyer, To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo, Over Ranging Tides by Jennifer Ellision, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll The Hunger Games and Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. I'm still ahead of my reading schedule. 🎉
🌻Just realized the next few months will make it difficult to resist not to buy books. All those shinning new releases need to be mine.

LAST WEEKS ON THE BLOG
- ARC review of Paramnesia by Brian Wilkinson and To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo. Yep, that's all I've done since last time I joined the Sunday Post. I feel I'm allowing my blog to "die" again and I really don't want it to happen. Especially now that I finally started interacting with lots people and my number of followers is slowly increasing... Why life must be so chaotic? Yep, chaotic is my life motto. ðŸ˜
📚 MINI BOOK HAUL 📚
Since the last Sunday Post, I got The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert. I've a really important question: if the book with a subscription book doesn't it mean I spend money on a book? I mean, I got this box for its goodies (the mug, the candle and bookmark that I'll show on my unboxing post). The book was just an extra. I'm even thinking about doing a giveaway with. 😆
Take a look at my previous Sunday Post to check which other book arrived at my bookshelf in February.
Was February nice to you? How many books did you read? How many books did you buy?
Awesome that you got it! I hope you enjoy it! I am riding out the storm that took out our power at a friends. So surreal looking at all the downed trees and power lines cut in half. Have a good Sunday!

Thank you. :) That was a hell of a storm. The weather has been crazy lately.
DeleteShut up and take my money...too funny. Thanks for the chuckle with my coffee.

You're welcome. :)
DeleteA Spyro remaster? I am pretty certain I would kill for that. Especially as the Crash remaster was just so good, Spyro would be even better, I loved that game. I feel you in letting the blog die, though. I somehow allowed myself to disappear from the blogosphere for two weeks and I didn't mean to. It's cool, though. Even if you're not reading loads as long as you keep blogging from time to time it's all good.
ReplyDeleteI would kill for that too. Love that purple dragon too much not to. =P Thank you for the kind words. :)
DeleteToo busy to stay awake is a good way to put it :D I feel much the same. It's a busy season!
ReplyDeleteI don't think you would allow your blog to die though! We are sometimes busy, that's all. It's hard doing all those things! We won't forget you :)
I hate busy seasons. I just want to have a moment to relax and read a good book. Aww, thank you. <3 I truly hope people won't forget me and my blog.
DeleteLooks like you tacked a lot of fantasy last month, and you're ahead of schedule - good for you! My daughter loved Kingdom Hearts. I remember her making me buy her a PSP just to play some version of that game.
ReplyDeleteFantasy is the genre I read the most (I can spend months only reading fantasy and not trying some different genres - something that I'm trying to change).
DeleteYour daughter has such a great taste. It's such an emotional and funny game.
Happy readings, Sam! :)
Oh I loved The Hunger Games series. I always intended to do a re-read, but only did book 1 on audio. Hope you have a great week!

It has been a long time since I wanted to re-read the series. I finally decided -and had the time- to do it. Thank you. :)
DeleteFebruary must have been a good reading month for people. I read seven books, and that never happens.
ReplyDeleteENJOY this week’s book, and thanks for sharing.
Which is surprising since February is such a short month. Happy readings! ;)
DeleteSeems like you had a good reading month overall :)And you read To Kill A Kingdom? I am currently reading it and quite enjoying it. Yeah, I am always late :D
ReplyDeleteI read The Hazel Wood last month and well, I was disappointed. This book was the reason for my whole February slump :( But I hope you enjoy this book :)
Yes, February was a good reading month. :) It's such an amazing book, To Kill a Kingdom. I love the worldbuiling and the characters so much. <3
DeleteI confess that if I hadn't received The Hazel Wood in a subscription box, I probably wouldn't have picked it up. The synopsis didn't catch my interest, but maybe I will have a nice surprise.
Happy readings! ;)
I haven't read that many books recently but I've been writing a lot. I hope you enjoyed all 6 of those books, I've heard good things!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing,

That's great - I hope you are having fun at writing(I wish I had more time to write). Happy writings! ;)
DeleteI've seen pics of the box with Hazel Witch..so cool. I love Alice in Wonderland
ReplyDeleteAlice's Adventures in Wonderland is such a great book. I love all the references to the Victorian society. Happy readings!;)
DeleteI'm kinda jealous of all those who got The Hazel Wood in the bookbox because I really really liked that book <3 I'm so happy you'll be reviewing it!:D
ReplyDeleteMaybe they will have extra copies and sell them separately? You should take a look at the website - some subscriptions boxes usually do that. Happy readings! ;)
DeleteHappy reading.
ReplyDeleteThank you. :)
